Household Items from…Food…

“…we can eventually save 15 million pounds of food and reach out to more than 2000 households in need,”

MIT unveilled a 3D printer that can turn food, that would otherwise go to scrap, into useful houselhold items.

Who wouldn’t want a 3D printer that can make a coffee mug from banana peels.

Ingenious, really!

We haven’t started using anything like this in our projects, but who knows what the future holds….

Just another way this technology continues to impress me how people can use it to innovate in the enviro/green-space.
