There is so much going on in the consumer 3D print space right now – in material science, new multi-color, multi-material, multi-head 3D printers promising less waste, higher quality, faster printing. Many manufacturers are advancing quickly along a variety of capability streams.

Foaming and glass fiber filaments, consumer closed loop recycling options, and AI for model generation, monitoring and automation.

It is unreal how much these new technologies are providing creators and makers. I am very excited to see the creativity that gets expressed with these new opportunities.

In that context, Flashforge has released their new Creator 5 and Creator 5 Pro – a 4 Toolhead switching Multi-Color 3D Printer that claims its is 500% faster than other multi-color printers with less waste. And, they have priced it fairly reasonably considering all the amenities it offers.

There has been some positive feedback from early testers from what I have seen. These printers look amazing.

I am looking forward to seeing how this printer performs in the wild – with the makers and creators.
