Not about home repair per se, but crosses over when you consider what Audi is doing – using 3D printing to make tools they need faster, to get a specific job or task done faster.

This same approach can be done with jigs for home or hobby tasks. There are literally thousands of these already in repositories like Thingiverse ( www.thingiverse.com ) or Printables (www.printables.com).
