Jeffs FL’s (an IdeaMiner and EIB3D partner) garage is now full of e-trike parts waiting to be assembled. The folks from D3d went out and did some filming. From here, the first step is assembly to transform the pile of parts into a working pedal-powered bike-car with electric assist.

The next step is working with key folk and our extended network to gradually make better parts to replace the old ones.

The problem we’re addressing is the two North American makers of these vehicles are essentially out of business, leaving a trail of unfulfilled orders and unmet repair needs. We’re tackling this problem differently, going the open-source route rather than becoming a manufacturer. Stay tuned.
